Matching is a comparison of the skills in your confirmed facts with the skills a job asks for. Here is what that means in practice.
When you upload a resume we list what it says as facts: roles, education, skills, projects. You confirm, edit or remove each one. Nothing is used until you do.
For every job we compare the keywords in the posting with the facts in your vault. Skills you have show as matched. Skills the job asks for that are not in your vault show as gaps.
We never add a skill to your application that you have not confirmed. If you do have the skill, add it to your vault and it counts next time. If you do not, you will see that honestly before you apply.
It is a keyword comparison, not a prediction of whether you will get an interview. Use it to decide where to spend your time.
Upload it once, see jobs that fit, and review every answer before it goes. You get 25 free credits every day.
